Rich beautiful modern art quilt tapestry composed of wonderful repurposed upholstery fabrics sustainably sourced from furniture makers in deep natural tones and elegant warm textures hand quilted in unique wool yarn. You can feel the emotional charge that only art quilts bring. The name of this piece came during progress of the art it was determined no more work will need to be done the design was complete and so it was named "Let it be". The colors within this piece are earth tones with bits of navy, hints of pale blues and mossy greens. This piece is large, heavy, thick and substantial bringing a comforting warmth to the space. Hand pieced and hand quilted a single stitch at a time utilizing a large steel darning needle with a kawandi technique in wool yarn through 3-8 layers of textile. This is one of a kind art and returns are not accepted. As in all of my pieces there is only one "Let it be" and the art cannot and will not be reproduced. This piece is signed by the artists stitched signature on the front corner, a label on the reverse indicates the name of the piece, artist and date in permanent ink. The reverse includes a hanging sleeve handsewn to accommodate a wood slat.
The art will arrive wrapped in plastic for protection, shipped gently folded or rolled. If shipped within the continental US piece may arrive rolled and may included a wood dowel.
